On. Off. On. Off. You get the idea. It’d be a solid product (but it crashes too often). NOT reccomended. At all I have not seen a difference in terms of speed while using this VPN unlike some other company’s. 1 Week Pass: $3.99 Tunnelbear offers decent speeds, and has important features like VigilantBear and GhostBear. Added support for torrenting and TOR browser is appreciated. However, it has occasional hiccups when it is blocked by some entity like WiFi/ISP level or government level which can take a few days to resolve. Also cannot connect to BBC iPlayer and NetFlix which is a bummer for some. Price is resonable and support, although is ticket-based, is fairly knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable.

All in all, these are respectable speeds, but they are in no way the best in class. TunnelBear seems to stand in the middle of the pack amongst its competitors in that respect.
I was looking for a VPN to watch videos that were region locked in Sweden when I found Tunnelbear through YouTube ads. I have been using the free version mainly, with a short period when I owned premium.

Note: there are a few other VPNs with free trials that range from a few days to a certain amount of bandwidth in a month.
